Injection site problems with Red Star
« on: January 07, 2006, 01:08:38 AM »
I am having incredible injection site pain and diffuse steaking redness with Red Star's Dragon Series. In addition I get a fever and feel like shit about 6 -12 hrs after injection. I am using VERY aeseptic technique and have never had these problems with other injectables. It is not an abcess because the onset is too quick and the problem goes away after a couple days.  It has happened with their test and primo but not as bad with the deca. I try low doses, 0.25cc's and still have the problems albeit to a lesser degree. I bought alot of gear from them about a year ago and have just started using it. Expiration date is not an issue. I do not want to toss it but I can not stand the pain. Any suggestions?

sounds like an acute inflammatory/immune  reaction brought on by unclean gear......use at your own risk...I personally have found that if I mix/dilute oil based UG gear with name brand gear it tends to  lessen the localized reaction and NSAIDS and benedryl helped since I thought I was having a histamine reaction as well.

Word.

Like bravo said, it's just the initial inflammatory response and most likely the gear is dirty, rather than your practices being unhygienic.

You need to pick your UG gear wisely.....

Unclean gear will cause you problems.....

I have seen kids develop tumors in their neck from dirty Tren.

I tried cutting it with other gear but still had problems. I did research Red Star and MD, Palumbo, always gave them good press. I guess I will just toss it. Thanks

Yeah- but look at palumbo- who would take that guys advice- not to mention all the bunk drugs that guy was dealing and shooting.  i would only use human grade gear or british Dragon. I know their are alot of british Dragon haters out there - but  their stuff is good if you get it from the right suppliers.

Agreed. But I still hear of BD products being slightly underdosed...but even so, I've never heard anything about BD being dirty.

As far as Red Star, I've asked about them before awhile back, and the responses I got were very negative. I bought a 20ml bottle of their winny once and it ended up being a problem.

Yes........BD is not reported as being "dirty", just underdosed.

Not all people dislike them, but I do know people who are down on them because their products have "felt" weaker than they should be.

Dude, tumors in the neck?  "its naht ah tumah" .....(insert your best Ahnold impersonation)

perhaps it was severe lymphadenopathy?  but seems like a really strange place to have this from extremity injections...were they injecting their biceps?  did they also have axillary (under the arm pits) nodal enlargemnt as well?

Nah.

It appears to be very dirty Tren, mixed by an unscrupulous homebrewer.

I don't know the specifics, though I'd imagine the extended use of Tren culminated with a compromised immune system thereby allowing whatever bacteria were present in the dirty gear to manifest themselves in the tumors.  I have seen it before, usually in longterm AAS abusers.

Tumors.
