Super Bowl Monday? NFL says game could be moved back up to five days because of bad weather

NFL VP of business operations checks weather forecast for February 2nd,  '30 or 40 times a day'
NFL has a blizzard of contingency plans in place should Mother Nature offer storms
Yet another storm is expected to follow the storm scheduled for Monday and is set to hit just one or two days before the Super Bowl on February 2

When it comes to the NFL, the show must go on... unless of course, there's a major snowstorm.
The NFL has said that it there is a possibility that Super Bowl XLVIII could be played on an alternative day to February 2nd should bad weather be scheduled to hit the area on game day.
However, any decision to play the Super Bowl on a day other than Superbowl Sunday would have to be made 36 hours in advance.

NFL loves a Hollywood ending... Peyton retiring with a win would be the top NFL story of the decade probably. 

Colin Cowherd predicted today that DEN would win by 10+.   That was my initial guess... Denver by 10.5 - - I just cannot see Peyton losing this.

I dont think the game will come down to Peyton vs. Sherman at all.   They want that to be a story so badly... but it won't...

IMO, it'll be two things... The DEN ground game being able to just keep scooting the ball down the field, and SEA making 2-3 big mistakes that cost them the game.  Think about that game against SF...  Russell wilson fumbles the ball on the opening play.  Then with 2 minutes left, SF is in a position to win it.   If Cap wasn't such a dummy with the poor pass into double coverage, the 49er can win that game.  Does anyone think with 3 chances at the endzone from that close, Peyton throws that pass?
