It comes down to the core elements of the character. Human Torch could be a clown, and it wouldn't matter. At the core Thor is white and Black Panther is black. You can flip-flop with the Lanterns and many others.
Anyway, the catch here is, they got another Jew in the lead roll. Teller is no less than 50% Jew.
