PORTER cotrell had great build, yeah he was on weiders train but still,he won his 1st 3 shows out of the gate when he turned pro..he looked good at this show,delts/chest/top notch for his size, good legs..clairmont looked great too, maybe some politics there.

cotrell was always on especially early in his career and he had good balance but his overall shape and size were genetically behind many of the guys he was beating.. it's not all about condition or andereas munzer should have been mr. olympia.. andereas too had some shape flaws imo.. clairmont needed some thickness but was still better than both these guys imo..

are you saying this mohamed died in front of everybody?

Are you for real? How do you spend most of your life on GetBig and not know about Momo's death?

Momo went to every show with a black doctor's bag full of AAS and fat-burners

pretty damn hardcore
Momo was the nickname of S’2", 205-pound professional bodybuilder Mohammed Benaziza, who in late 1992 made the rounds of the European IFBB shows with a black bag in which he kept all kinds of legal and illegal drugs—thyroid supplements, clenbuterol, Nubain, and the diuretics Lasix and Aldactone, which are used by bodybuilders to reduce water levels beneath the skin, giving their muscles that ripped look. During the Dutch Grand Prix show on October 3, 1992, those who touched Mo-mo’s skin reported that it "was so cold and clammy it was like touching a dead person." He won the show but was so cramped up afterward that he could barely walk. He was vomiting almost continuously. A doctor was called.

"The doctor kept saying his vital signs were normal," pro bodybuilder Steve Brisbois has said. "But his face was hard and looked like a mask. His eyes were sunk back into his head. His jawbone was jutting out It was, in some ways, precisely the look judges like to see on bodybuilders. But seven hours after winning the Dutch Grand Prix, Momo went into cardiac arrest and died. The diuretics had drained his body of potassium and magnesium, two minerals essential to the stable functioning of the heart. According to the bodybuilders I talked to, diuretics are the most dangerous drug they take, not steroids. With diuretics, Wayne DeMilia told me, "you are so close to death, it’s scary."

Correct Steve,i think thats why Porter stopped competing,it shocked him that much.

What? Porter competed for MANY years after that event. Him stopping competing had nothing to do with being in shock. Momo died in 1992 and Porter competed in pro competitions until 1999. In fact, Porter's placing got better and better POST-Momo's death.

Porter competed until 1999, but everything else you said was accurate.

Again, Porter did not QUIT (not quitted) after Momo's death.

Charles was a known crybaby back in the early 90s.

Guy would train his ass off, get in shape looking extremely well when standing alone and then... boom! When compared to others he disappeared.

He disliked Dorian's physique big time too. He made it a point to always go out there and complain about Yates in the magazines, TV interviews, et cetera.

He seemed to like judging more than bodybuilding. Too bad he chose the wrong profession.
