Any idea what was going on in your brother's head at the time to have a baby with an addict?

He knew her from childhood and she was taking pills secretly for a long time.

Even up until 2 weeks ago or so he was hell bent on staying with her and also trying to keep his family together.

He hoped she would change after she had the child and they did stay together for 4 years now, but he needed to pull the plug earlier and instead alienated family.

He takes no drugs and works a NYC Gov job for many years. None of the other woman he ever dated for anything like this woman. Some people just need to go down in flames at least once I’ve seen. My parents divorced.. and then they both remarried and divorced again. I’ve known my wife 17 years now (mostly as her husband). Im not trying to pull some semhanktic stuff here.
