Democratic operative Kathy Groob, described herself on her now-deleted Twitter account as a “business & political consultant, activist for women’s rights and equality, founder of ElectWomen.com,” The Blaze reported.
 
On Saturday, she sent out a series of tweets insulting Mrs. Chao, a former labor secretary to President George W. Bush and wife to Mr. McConnell.
 
“Hey Mitch, nothing against you wife and spouses should be off limits; since you mentioned, she isn’t from KY, she is Asian,” she said.
 
“Either way, she’s not from KY, she is Asian and Bush openly touted that,” Ms. Groob responded to several critics.
 
“Google Elaine Chao, Mitch McConnell’s wife. No mention of Kentucky, she is Asian,” she repeated.
