give some apaches, howitzers, gps mortars and 50cal sniper rifles to the kurds and most of this problem will be pushed towards saudi.
No, you don't have a grasp of the issues at hand. I can already tell from your posts- in all seriousness- and your language, the lack of precision of it, that you are just running your mouth
The Kurds are at an inheritent disadvantage due to geography. I'm going to dismantle your entire post right now item by item, by the way. They are in essentially a pit, and ISIS/ISIL/Islamic Nation is attacking mainly from a hill.
Please refer to the VICE documentaries to see how ISIS/ISIL/Islamic Nation prepares for their attacks. They are in a HILL, with professionally built fox holes and trenches, and PROFESSIONAL EX MILITARY SNIPERS equipped with at least basic M40s . Meaning these dudes are not Chris Kyle, but they are keeping the Kurds VERY scared, and preventing attack by foot.
Apaches? Are you joking? Who will fly them correctly?
Do you understand that one of the reasons Maliki LOST two of his three strong holds is because they didn't have people who could operate the machinery correctly...
The Kurds have in total 24 apaches in their entire country but they never even flew them ... which tells me they don't have a strategy here unfortunately .. the helicopters are IN TEH BOX so to speak
http://iraqidinarchat.net/?p=5770ALSO, to just tell you what the kurds NEED to protect themselves, the answer is not what you said
it is :
1. tanks
2. armor
3. rifles
4. MAN POWER
THEN and only then would we be talking apaches. Howeer, I do think the US and the UK should swoop in now and take care of this because it's against everything I believe in, the slaughter of innocents in this barbaric manner.
By the way : please refer to the fifth parragraph it supports my above assertion of what Kurdistan needs to defend itself logistically :
http://online.wsj.com/articles/abandoning-the-kurds-1407196106"As ISIS charged toward Baghdad, Kurdish leaders last month sent a delegation to Washington to seek military assistance. The peshmerga are known for their professionalism and courage, but they need
ammunition and artillery, better rifles, tanks, transportation vehicles and body armor. Obama Administration officials brushed them off, claiming American aid was tantamount to a green light to Kurdish independence and Iraq's breakup.
