One thing that really motivates me about training is that it keeps me out of the rut of mediocrity that so many people find themselves in today. You know the routine, go to work, drink beer all weekend, repeat all year long...no goals, no ambition, just drifting aimlessly in an almost miserable state of existence. Sure, there are other ways to keep from leading a meaningless life, but for me BB is my nitch, and it has helped me in almost every aspect of my life.
