Music confessions
« on: September 02, 2014, 07:25:50 AM »
I've spent the last hour at my desk, listening to ABBA on my ipod.

I'm not going to hide anymore  ;D

What are some of your less serious musical confessions?

I'm already outed as a John Denver fan but I now admit to an unending lust for the music of Paul Simon.  Not lust enough to pay the $800 (minimum, that is) per ticket that the web sale quoted me to see him with Sting.  Not 'with with' presumeably, but for that kinda money you never know.

My father in law loved Paul Simon, and had one CD permanently in his car for long road trips, inevititably everyone would sing along regardless!

I quite like Patrick Swayze's "She's like the wind".

I have touched a vagina, honest!

Ha, seeing how my Itunes library also contains Aleesha Dixon's "the boy does nothing", I think it may have been a figment of my imagination all along.

I sometimes put gregorian chanting on at night, very relaxing.

I've got this weird 70's electronic classical music called snowflakes are dancing, mu parents used to put it on cassette to put us to sleep when we were on holiday abroad... Still find it soothing to this day, our lass thinks it pathetic...

Paul Simon or Simon and Garfunkel were great...I didn't know I was supposed to be ashamed for liking their music. I guess I'll hide the fact that I still enjoy E.L.O.

Excuse me, that's Glenn Gould playing the keys.  Glenn Gould was a true musician and not some glitzy, effeminate Vegas act.
