Most Addictive Series Ever?

What's yours, ever gotten into one fully?

Recently I thought Vikings was good, really enjoyed, but most say nothing ever came close to Prison Break.

I tried the wire but couldn't get passed one series, my mates were obsessed with it.

I watched Extant (Halle Berry) and it was good....right now I am going through Game of Thrones and Season 1 I watched in one week....comes close to Prison Break for me.

I've never actually got into any TV series. Friends and colleagues at work will always be like "Do you watch Game of Thrones/Breaking Bad/The Wire..etc?" but I've never seen any of them. I think it's probably that I just can't be bothered to sit through hours and hours of television even if it's quality television.

Would rather just watch a movie. 2 hours later and it's over.

I tried with Breaking Bad, but genuinely couldn't be arsed after a few episodes and gave up.

Sons of Anarchy gets good in places, but is fairly light entertainment that you can take or leave.

Trust me,after the 4-5 episode of Breaking Bad you will be hooked,its the best series of all time,even better than the Sopranos.The UK version of Shameless was brilliant for the first 3 series,then as they tried to get more outraegous each series it just got pathetic.

Agree on SoA, but I'm glad it's over this year.  Too much has happened.

As for BB, I would give it a chance....that series is so much more about the journey than the first half season of episodes.  This one really does build.

Never got in to Game Of Thrones. Gave up halfway through the 3rd season (as you can see, I really tried liking it). And I'm a huge fan of fantasy fiction. Name it and I've read it.

It's just not a complete and believable world. Obviously the production values are incredible but I found the story lacking. The premise of the long seasons and the white walkers are a very good idea. But 'south' of the wall ... it's just not happening.
