I wouldn't class it in the normal sense of a schmoe, which is much more sexual in nature. It's more like a retired baseball, football player, etc.... The hobby of bodybuilding has played such a giant part in his life, that even though he can't do it anymore, he still enjoys the comradery that only people in a certain field, especially one as narrow as bodybuilding can have with one another.
Bill Kazmaier is another that still has it strongly too.
