I train in the AM starting at 4:30 until 7-8 depending what I am doing... nothing but water/coffee during the workout...
post workout I have a smoothie... blended (cheap $20 blender that has lasted for years)
1 cup lactose free 2% milk
2 scoops strawberry whey
2 tbsp chia seeds (soaked in the milk for 10 minutes prior to blending)
hunk of raw ginger sliced (2"x1" approx)
1 banana
2 cups frozen broccoli florets
1tsp cinnamon
it's very tasty... you cannot taste the broccoli (not that I would mind)... the ginger is the secret
