Congrats to pellius for reaching 10,000 posts.

Do any of you have any idea how hard it is to reach that number when every post is as long as a novel :o
at least in his favor he was able to rack up a lot of his posts defending his hero gh15...

I feel like a lightwt, being just shy of 7000 myself.
I took a break from getbig for a couple yrs or I'd be close to that status.
BUT, I shall salute the man for breaking the 10k barrier.

You know, I didn't even notice. I guess it is quite an achievement and thanks CalvinH for recognizing this new chapter in my life. It took me seven long tortuous years to reach this goal. But I first joined GB in 2003-04 and my original account was under the name MTwain which was put in TO by Ron and allowed to languish indefinitely. So who knows how many posts I would have if those years were counted.

And a word of advice to those striving to reach this elite status: if you have no social life, no job, no friends and nothing but time on your hands; it is achievable to belong to the ranks of the GB elite. The ranks of the winners.

Just be a loser in real life. If I can do it anybody can.

I am humbled and grateful.

Alas, I've been cast out with scorn and ridicule. I gave that man some of the best years of my life. I thought we had something special.

Actually, I'd probably still be there if it was up to just gh15. He always had a soft spot for me and let me get away with a lot -- and it drove him nuts. But pressure from the inner circle was just too much. But our great love for dogs and support for Israel still binds us forever.

So like the rest of the castaways we come crawling back to GetBig in tears begging for a second chance.
