(CBS4) CANTON A Canton man, known as the 'Steroid Guru', was arraigned Tuesday on drug and weapons charges.
Federal and local investigators arrested 37-year-old Bruce Kneller, of 735 Randolph Street, and seized more than 100,000 suspected steroid pills, ten guns and other materials.
Kneller pleaded not guilty in Stoughton District Court Tuesday morning. He was charged with possession with intent to distribute steroids, ten counts of unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition, and violating a Drug Free School Zone.
Kneller is expected to make bail.
Prosecutors say Kneller's writings on steroids and other performance-enhancing supplements are widely available online.

Weird that exactly 60 days after the feds spent a week inside steroid dealer Matt Cline's house in Canton, Mass, a popular gear supplier in that town is brought down.

10 yrs for a gun in Mass. I always thought that it was a manditory 1 yr term? As for the powder from China, it all depends on if he was licensed to import for research or not? Just a guess.

I don't get it... what's the problem? They were in his home, he wasn't carrying them on the street. As long as they were purchased legally and weren't stolen or something, what crime has he committed? Last I knew, we had the right to own firearms in this country (unless he's a convicted felon or something).

According to the news story he was behind the UG steroid lab Red Star of China, formerly GAC. It was always rumored it was Knellers lab all the way back from his days at T-mag. Chinese steroids bottled in the states.

Recently Kneller was working with ALRI and Gaspari (OTC supp companies).

All these companies selling powders/supps OTC as "research" chemicals should know by now that using the "research" disclaimer doesn't do crap for protecting them from liability. There's been about 2-3 companies over the last 6 months that have been raided/searched and are still dealing with the fallout even though their websites said everything they sell is for "research" purposes.

More than anything I'm surprised the cops got the drop on BK. As its been said, he's usually so paranoid you'd think he'd take more precautions...

It's not an accusation.

It's an observation that things are just a *tad* bit too coincidental.

BK does his thing for years and everything is fine.

Sixty days after Matt Cline- an admitted bigtime gear dealer- admits the feds spent all weekend in his house, BK is busted in the same town.

Matt Cline reads this board. I'm sure if he wasn't involved he will let us know.
