Hate all you want. He beat all the guys in his weight class to win the NY Pro... including Thomas Bengali, Stan McQuay, Guy Ducasse, and Bryan Pazdzierz. Would he have won in the open division (where someone like Branch competes)? No. But he beat 21 guys to win his weight class.
