Good stuff. I thought you had to walk the bar out of the rack for it to be classified as a raw lift? Also he had knee sleeves on. I'm not talking shit, just wondering.
The walk out depends on the federation you lift in. A lot now allow the Monolift for safety reasons. I like to watch a heavy walked out squat, but don't have a problem with the mono simply for safety's sake.
The knee sleeves are a sticky wicket. Most of the feds allow them, and are considered raw without wraps, because a set of knee sleeves shouldn't give you much carry over at all. But there is a little bit of an arms race going on with the knee sleeves, with guys using extra tight models, or extra thick models. Even then though, the carry over isn't much, maybe #0-20lbs on average.
