  • I'd hit it
Good stuff. I thought you had to walk the bar out of the rack for it to be classified as a raw lift? Also he had knee sleeves on. I'm not talking shit, just wondering.

  • The Strongest Shall Survive.- - Lest we Forget.
Good depth on squat.
Would of been better to see him walk it in & out.

Decent range of motion on bench.
Even with the big arch & tip toes.

Strong, clean lifts on the Deadlifts.

Compared to the crap that passes for Assisted Powerlifting now a days
His lifting is a refreshing change & Great to watch.

The walk out depends on the federation you lift in. A lot now allow the Monolift for safety reasons. I like to watch a heavy walked out squat, but don't have a problem with the mono simply for safety's sake.

The knee sleeves are a sticky wicket. Most of the feds allow them, and are considered raw without wraps, because a set of knee sleeves shouldn't give you much carry over at all. But there is a little bit of an arms race going on with the knee sleeves, with guys using extra tight models, or extra thick models. Even then though, the carry over isn't much, maybe #0-20lbs on average.

Lillebridge is a beast, I wonder if he'll go after the various SHW records now.

He might be following in the footsteps of the great Kazmaier, in the powerlifting history.

Amazing, a 2,353 total in just a belt and sleeves is out of this world.

Yeah his brother Ernie is one hell of a lifter as well, has gone over 2000 at 198 in wraps and a belt.

Freak

However, he's pushing his young body too hard with all the drugs and obscene poundages.

He (likely) won't last long in the sport and/or suffer debilitating pain later in life.

This is my prediction.

But no slam: the guy is beastly and certainly making an impact in the world of strength. I mean, holy shit.

P.S. I appreciate his tight and clean technique. Nothing lame there AT ALL.

P.P.S. Boy, he LOVES Children of Bodom's 'Every Time I Die'. Has it synced for each of his big lifts. ha, ha
