I always thought that Dorian never really did this pose well. But I have had come across a pic i never seen before which i makes reconsider the first part of this post...

What a bunch of dumbasses ! Cant you see that his body is twisting onstage.
He is twisting his right side back more so than his left which would make his X-mass tree look that way. But I guess If you dont know shit about bodybuilding and you have never posed youreself you would not understand that. Duhhhh ! ( Dorian has a perfect X-mass tree ) so deal !

Bozos, go to the: Lee priest comments on titus thread. Click on the video, and on the side you will see other videos by bodybuildingdungeon.com. There Is a video of Dorians greatest. In that video there is shot after shot of Dorian's perfect X-mass tree. Game over !!!!!

I will be the first to admit that dorian had an AMAZING christmass tree. Its the lack of visible biceps that ruins this pose for me.
If he had biceps, that shot would have been one of the greatest ever.

pre-tear, his arms looked okay from the front. but they always disappeared when he turned around.
this is the hallmark of great biceps: anyone can look good from the front, but what happens when you turn around?
If your biceps disappear, you have crappy (for a pro) biceps.
Me, on the other hand, I have mountain peaks on both sides!~

Hillbilly : Please stop with your ignorant posting. Dorian never tore both biceps. ( where are you coming up with this stuff ) He only tore one. You are either under 15 ( not knowing any Mr. Olyimpia before Ronnie. ) Or just plain stupid. Hang it up !

Hulkster : I agree. From the back If you could see more bicep. That pose would have been great. One other thing I always noticed , is that from the back he never pulled his arms back enough. ( where the judges and the crowd are seated lower ) This made it very hard to see them. Even if they were good. This was not so much of a problem from the front.

This front double bicep shot may well be the most impressive bodybuilding pic ever-------------even though his biceps are not super peaked, look how huge they are---------------Dorians left bicep is half the size of his head !!! These pictures were taken in the early 90's (I believe), and I have yet to see anything top it yet !!!

that is by far the best back double bi of all time. no one has been that thick with that much detail and hardness.

get it right, yates had 1.5 biceps. look at the photo and tell me you dont see his (not the best) right bi and his left .5 bicep.

some of you really need to get off the biceps thing. they are SMALL muscles and the pose is about showing everything from the neck down to the calves. it is called back double bi because that is the pose is named. granted yates could have been beter in the biceps area but i also wouldnt want to see ronnie style bis on yates- they just dont go with his structure.
