When I was a member of the Original Downtown Houston YMCA you used gym clothes and towels provided by the gym.  I rather liked that as it made for a civilized atmosphere.

Usually a combo between a jogging pants passed down to me from my father, which for the sake of continuity I'll force my unborn kid to wear it too some day, and any variety of tshirt. Own some nike compression shirts, and underarmour shorts, but don't actively seek any of them out or consider them to be crucial for lifting.


Been seeing a lot of people with Gymshark and DoYouEven attire though, not sure what to think of it. Then again, I don't really give a fuck what others wear.

I'm in the US from time to time, shit's ridic cheap there. Went to the Jersey Garden's mall and loaded up on Under Armour shirts, longsleeves, shorts and other shit, all below $10 a pop. Saved like 70% compared to Euro prices... it's really cheaper than unmarked decent non-brand shit here. Not even kidding.

I go to TJ MAXX or Marshal's  They have a shit load of Nike and Under Armour shirts for a fraction of the price.

Yeah....agreed.

Guys actually wear this stuff at the office, and we have a store down the street.   I tried on a shirt, nice material, but fit like shit.

For me they are great for leg day and running.I never wore them then I found out how to use them. if you leave them on for awhile after your workout they really do prevent soreness.

I agree.  Compression sleeves on the calves during the last TM prevented a whole slew of issues I had in the prior one.

I can understand leg day as I've worn long johns under my joggin' pants and found it comfortable. But the people I see wearing this stuff are all total beginners and I absolutely can't stand these twats (98% of them) who do it because all the other mother fuckers are doing it....

i wear athletic gear to the gym, addidas, Nike, etc...sleeveless, tank-tops and long athletic pants, knee length shorts...  but nothing retarded.

here's the thing...and this isn't another "i'm so great" moment..more of a "look hard in the mirror" moment.  if you have the body to pull of racy gym wear. ...more power to you. not my style but i get it.  i like attention and looking good too.  but if you DON'T.....ooof.  you look like a complete buffoon

my training partner, god bless em....wears all of that shit, Freak of nature T backs, the gigantic gym bag..etc. totally into the look.  but he's 6ft 1  , 210  shredded and good looking, so he pulls it off

But if I'm exercising outside, rucking etc, sometimes I'll wear compression only - just feels better (shirt doesn't bunch up, etc....)
