You don't even have to delete them, you can just put them on hold, or institute an email verification system and reset all 42,000 to "need verification" to post. There's so many ways to deal with this gimmick pool.

I think that the best bet would be a simple query:

SELECT userID from Users where (DATEDIFF(NOW(), Users.lastPostDate) > (5*365)) and (Users.postCount < 10)

This would get you all of the single digit posters who haven't posted in 5 years. Mark them all as "pending" and you are good to go.

Based in this (the actual SMF schema), the query is more like this;

UPDATE smf_members SET smf_members.is_activated=0 where ((DATEDIFF(NOW(), smf_members.lastLogin)>(5*365) and smf_members.posts<10)

This query will deactivate a LOT of gimmick fodder.

Edit: in case somebody wants to try this, test it first and take a fucking backup prior.

It the principal of the thing. What is the issue here? A lie is a lie regardless of if its in real life or a forum.

He has accused me of being multiple gimmicks in the past and recently.
