muscleman-2013 -

Who do you think would be a good president for America? I'm mean, only counting those born in America so could qualify for Presidency?

Someone who respects the constitution and all the rights it entails, protects the US border  and only enters wars when it is truly necessary.

I'd give Rand Paul a go.

I actually agree with you on that even though I don't have too much issue with the people you seem to despise.
I've always thought Pat Buchanan would have been a great President.

Libtard ? really , hmmm.

1. I served on active duty in the USMC when Reagan was President and voted for him 2x. ( Reagan = greatest Pres of the past 100 yrs)
I went thru boot camp on ol' Paris Island ( 3rd Bn, 1979) and my DI's were all seasoned combat vets in Viet Nam.
My buddy in boot camp , LCPL Phillip Scott was killed while serving in Lebanon in 1983 when the terrorists attacked the marine barracks.

I was in the marines when the USSR and guys like Putin were running the KGB, trying to overthrow the USA.
Putin may look like a cool guy, but trust me ,guys like him are not to be admired by those who love America.
I'm loyal to America , NOT some political party.

Ok, so what's your story  bucko?

Seller Fi devil dog... I may disagree with you on Obama (I couldn't ever have voted for him) but I agree with you that Putin is not a good dude. He and his spin doctors are doing an outstanding job with his image but thats not the real Putin..
Sorry bout your brother in Beruit.. I am a little younger - graduated OCS 1994 but I worked with some older cats that knew guys there.
FYI - I respect the shit out of you leaving the island 79... I have heard it was a mother back then!!!

America is controlled by it's enemies from within.  How do you feel about that?

I don't see any verifiable facts on that conspiracy theory and seriously doubt you can give any legit , objective data to support it. I love reading and watching a lot of that " above top secret stuff", especially UFO's.
The only problem is, , even if stumbled on the "truth", what practical value would it be in your life?
If you can't prove it, how does it help your life? seriously?

The USA isn't perfect, but it's the best form of Gov offered on planet earth.

* FYI< if I had to vote for Pres. right now, I'd vote for Huckabee.

Allow me to give you a proper virtual salute, SIR!

I was all set up for the PLC program for USMC/ OCS after 2 years of college , but wanted to go right in after the Marine Barracks/ Hostage situation broke out in Iran in 1979. I was  young, dumb and gung ho as hell, so I enlisted and just went right in.
Let me tell ya, going thru boot camp on Parris island back then was no f'n joke.
Having to "qualify" for NBC training with the gas mask in that gas filled hut was the worst.
I swear to GOD, I thought I might be allowed to die in there LOL.

I went TDY and was assigned to be an ammo supply point (ASP) security guard for a few months.
For that temporary MOS, I had to get cleared for a "deadly force card".
It's not that big a deal and I think all military police and security details have something similar.

It's  the UCMJ legal requirements for the 10 basic reasons you can use deadly force in the course of duty.
It really is a  lamented index card you were required to carry with the 10 things listed 1-10. I never shot anyone, but it was cool to get the card.

I even did 11 months , 14 days on "the rock" LOL, 3rd marine div on Okinawa.
My official MOS was 3421 ( personal financial accounting or dispursing- pay clerk )
I half volunteered to be one of the pay clerks on a float out of Japan.
BUT, that kinda sucked, a lot of 16 hr work days on ship, 100% serious.

I had a short stint with special services on the USMC power team as a 198 lb lifter.
We pulled the army team like rag dolls in an exhibition tug of war down in Savanna.

Ooooh Rah  Sir!

Ok let me get this straight.

Obama is rumored to be a socialist, by those who don't like his policies as President. Ok, fair enough.
Keeping socialism and communism away from our democratic republic sounds like a sensible worry.

BUT, then these same folks want Putin to be the US President?
If I remember correctly, the USSR stands for Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republic.

Now, I'm confused? ??? WTF???

I'm obviously no fan of Obama, but the last thing I want is a domestic dictator. Obama merely uses the IRS and other government agencies to make life more difficult for those who criticize him, while Putin has his own critics murdered.

It would be great to someday have a leader who makes our enemies fear us again, and who utilizes an assertive foreign policy that protects our global interests. But who also believes in the Constitution, individual freedoms, and a smaller, more efficient federal government.

It would be great to see the IRS disbanded, and most other government agencies like the EPA spanked and trimmed considerably - make most of those hacks get real jobs, and make some of them actually useful by putting them along the border or elsewhere where they'd actually earn their taxpayer funded salary and do some actual good.

But domestically, our federal government leaders need to be virtually silent and invisible. To respect that forgotten document called the Constitution, and only be seen and heard inside our borders when needed and called upon by any state requesting their services.

I'm not holding my breath.

oh yes...it would be so great to have a guy as president who steals money from the treasury (Putin has a reported $40 billion dolars stashed in various bank accounts all over the world).......takes people's companies and gives them to his friends when you don't agree with him...puts you in jail for protesting........has destroyed his country's economy through aggression..and presides over a country that only exports oil, weapons, vodka, and prostitutes...

oh yes...what a guy

I don't see a lot of difference with the UK/ European or American
PM's, presidents, or politicians.
Countless numbers of them constantly being exposed for lying, cheating,
Looking after their friends / family, evading the law, being corrupt.

At least Putin has a back bone & stands up for his country, rightly or wrongly at times.
Doesn't stand for the queer propaganda being forced onto every one else.

Over here in UK we have some god awful politicians mainly old public school friends
Very wealthy ( nothing wrong with that) only they so far out of touch with 90+%
Of people.
And have no back bone, can't stand up to euro legislation.
And political correctness gone mad.

Think we are Fcuked.

At least w/ communists you know their not going to hide behind some BS law enacted over a staged "terrorist" attack that they planned & executed.  I cannot believe the american people pretend to buy into the lie that jet fuel brought down not (1) but (2) 100+ story skyscrapers very neatly being careful not to damage any surrounding expensive properties.  Can you say Thermolite?

http://911research.wtc7.net/essays/thermite/explosive_residues.html

http://www.serendipity.li/wtc5.htm

I truly believe Americans are now afraid of they're government that they pay for.  That my GetBig friends is the beginning of the end of this once great country.  One hundred years from now it will not even be a pale shadow of it's former self due to the greed of a few evil people who will no longer be able to lie to the American people of what they really do w/ OUR $$.  The end is near.

Not to damage any surrounding exspensive properties?

American politics "jumped the shark"...They all want to be movie/media stars...It's an extremely feminine quality to want to be a star...It's one of the reason's Hollywood is full of fruitcakes...

Have to laugh at the spoon fed western media opinionated in this thread, The country prior to the latest embargo was on the up big time, sometimes one needs to travel to a country to form an opinion on it, not just form an opinion from the pro western press. Putin is an alpha , no doubt dangerous, but no less a very strong leader and the Russian people outside of a few small areas relating to gays and immigrants are on the whole very happy, he just doesn't want the same type of liberalism that he feels is taking priority over more important things in the west. I don't agree with it but the saudis persecute and execute similar every day but because they sell the west oil at a mutually beneficial price, alls good

Yes, you are confused.

The USSR ended it's existence in 1991.
