Dos Equis is a brand of beer. Your name is Dos Equis. Since you equate calling yourself something with being something, I assume you self-identify as beer, and I am addressing you appropriately. Would you prefer me to treat you as bourbon instead?
Except I'm not offended. His "joke" doesn't affect me in any way. I simply don't think it's funny and it's based on faulty premises. That isn't taking offense. Besides, even if I were offended, why is it OK for Huckabee to be offended and talk about some things but not for me?
I don't see anyone trying to force their views on me. Are you sure you aren't exaggerating?
Why do you have a problem what kids are taught - unless they're your kids? And more importantly, why should we give a shit about what think about what kids are taught? It's really quite simple: if someone tries to teach your kid things you disagree with, then remove your kid from that school; if someone hands your kid a pamphlet like the one in your other post, then simply take the opportunity to explain your views to your kid and highlight how the views expressed in the pamphlet are wrong and chuck it in the trash. Problem solved.
Wait. You were trying to be funny?? So you actually do have a sense of humor?

Good to know.

I picked Dos Equis for the byline "most interesting man in the world," not because of the beer. I have a few stalkers who are obsessed with me, so I am, the most interesting man in the world, to message board losers.

(I'm really not that interesting.)
In any event, you're not offended, you're just pretending that his joke upsets you. Who said Huckabee is offended? He was making a joke. Both you and he can feel anyway you want. I doubt anyone cares.
If you don't see what is happening in society, then you aren't paying attention. For instance, I posted a thread about the "Pono Choices" program here, where they were teaching little elementary school kids that, among other things, the anus is a genital. Twisted. Not until one legislator shined the light on this did they first give parents the choice to opt out of the program, then made other changes. (Not sure of the current status.) There are numerous other examples of strong-arm tactics to try and force these amorphous gender classifications on society.
I am concerned with what kids are taught in school, because I'm not an extremist libertarian. I care about what happens in my community. I honestly don't give a rip if you like that, think I should be quiet, etc. Who the heck are you?
Extremism is also something that isn't healthy.
