Oh snap!

Happier now? Back to 2016.
You said ETH / BTC roundtripped 9 years on March 13 2025.

Unfortunately Yahoo's Historical Data does not go that far back. I did get these averaged values for March 2016 and March 2025. It did not roundtrip. ETH was still up more than BTC from March 2016 to March 2025, 9 years later. And that's after ETH's horrible performance due to the Bybit hack and overall ETH FUD.

ETH MARCH 2016: $6.34
ETH MARCH 2025: $1823.48

1823.48 / 6.34 = 287.61X

https://www.digrin.com/stocks/detail/ETH-USD/price

BTC MARCH 2016: $416.73
BTC MARCH 2025: $82,548.91

82,548.91 / 416.73 = 198.08X

Bitcoin’s hashrate chart looks like a heart monitor during a heart attack.
Take a look at the latest monthly snapshot — it’s swinging wildly, fluctuating by up to 30% or more within days. And this isn’t a one-off; the volatility has persisted all year. That’s significant because Bitcoin’s hashrate directly reflects its economic security.

Meanwhile, Ethereum tells a different story.
ETH’s staked supply is calm, consistent, and steadily growing.
Check out the latest monthly snapshot — it’s a picture of stability. That’s what long-term economic security is supposed to look like.

JPMorgan moves further into crypto with stablecoin-like token JPMD

The U.S. banking giant told CNBC on Tuesday that it’s planning to launch a so-called deposit token on Coinbase’s public blockchain Base, which is built on top of the Ethereum
network. Each deposit token is meant to serve as a digital representation of a commercial bank deposit.

Your chart is just a graphic. I posted the numbers for March 2016 and March 2025. Just being technical about your 9-year roundtrip claim. Yes, ETH / BTC has roundtripped the past few years. Time will tell if this trend will reverse meaningfully.

The one missing piece is Ethereum not being mentioned or promoted enough. They recently had a Bitcoin conference and "Stablecoins" were discussed more than Bitcoin - lmao! But Ethereum is never mentioned when people on the news talk about stablecoins. Even though the majority are on Ethereum and you literally can't have stablecoins on Bitcoin.

https://x.com/sassal0x/status/1935102653526417770

This whole "Coinbase doesn't have to talk about Ethereum thing" is just dumb. Of course, they don't *have* to talk about anything, but the incentives are already there for them to do so.

Coinbase is very incentivized to talk about Ethereum and see Ethereum/ETH do well - they own 137,000 ETH, are the third largest ETH staking service, are building their entire onchain business on Base (which settles on Ethereum) and have many investments in Ethereum-related companies.

It's not about "alignment" - it's about Coinbase (and other entities) being vocally bullish on the thing that they have invested a lot of time and money into.

Not sure, but who cares? ETH staking just reached a new record high of 35M. Bitcoin mining has also been banned from time to time in different regions of the world. Blockchain is global, so a little state banning ETH staking means little. And they can't physically prevent someone from staking ETH in New Jersey. But the staker would have to keep quiet about it.

Ethical & Conflict-of-Interest Rules
Members of Congress and senior exec‑branch officials cannot issue a stablecoin while in office

However, the President and VP are exempt, creating a gap particularly given Trump family ties to World Liberty Financial/“USD1”

^^^^ This part is so suspect - lol! Wonder how Trump managed to get them to sign off on that - lmao!

Once again.... ::)

So you have finally learned your lesson? With an asset that rises infinitely over time, YOU ALWAYS BUY THE DIP!

I was lucky to get more at 102.5. My next buy at 99.5 didn't hit. Every single one of my buys accumulates more BTC. And the USD has depreciated to every single Sat I have ever bought. Right down to the last Satoshi.

See you all at 125K.

Wall Street strategist Tom Lee is aiming to create the MicroStrategy of Ethereum

Fundstrat’s Tom Lee is joining a little known bitcoin miner aiming to become the biggest publicly traded holder of ether.

Lee, a high-profile market strategist known for his prescient bitcoin price forecasts and stock predictions, has been appointed chairman of the board of directors of BitMine Immersion Technologies, effective Monday.

The company also announced a $250 million private placement to implement a buying strategy around ether, which it aims to make its primary treasury reserve asset while continuing with its core bitcoin mining business.

Lee’s appointment comes amid a groundswell of interest around stablecoins following the successful IPO of stablecoin issuer Circle at the beginning of the month and positive momentum pushing potential stablecoin legislation through Congress.

“Stablecoins have proven to be the ‘ChatGPT’ of crypto, leading to rapid adoption by consumers, merchants and financial services providers,” Lee said in a statement. “Ethereum is the blockchain where the majority of stablecoin payments are transacted … and thus, ETH should benefit from this growth.”

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/06/30/wall-street-strategist-tom-lee-is-aiming-to-create-the-microstrategy-of-ethereum.html

"Ethereum is also the architecture that future banks will have. When Goldman issues a stablecoin and JPMorgan doing it on Ethereum as Layer 1 blockchain they're going to want to secure it by staking Ethereum so, we're trying to get in front of that by creating an Ethereum treasury vehicle."

BitMine’s $250 Million Ethereum Bet Drives 695% Stock Surge

BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR), a publicly traded company focused on Bitcoin (BTC) mining, has seen a dramatic 694.8% surge in its stock price following the announcement of its $250 million Ethereum (ETH) treasury strategy.

The increasing number of companies choosing Ethereum over Bitcoin reflects a growing belief in Ethereum’s long-term potential. This confidence is particularly fueled by the latest growth in the stablecoin sector.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent projected that the stablecoin market could grow to $2 trillion by 2028. Since Ethereum is the primary blockchain for stablecoin transactions, ETH is well-positioned to benefit from this growth.

Amazing Ethereum news the past few weeks.

Stablecoin legislation incoming.

ETH is extremely undervalued relative to the BTC meme coin.

You can't have a "treasury company" based on a proof of stake coin who's value is determined on revenue, with the underlying token unlimited in supply - that should be obvious. You learned your lesson with Trump coin, and you are learning it very publicly and in real time with Eth. So, these little Eth (and Sol or whatever) "treasury companies, are really just a gimmick, playing off the naivety and stupidity of "investors" looking for a "better than BTC" short-cut, in an attempt to outperform BTC, so that they can later buy more BTC than they had just bought BTC all along. Meanwhile the founders of such scams are using any funds to buy BTC as quickly as they can in their personal capacity. So, you should be able to see who the sucker is in these scenarios...

Also, you are confusing utility with the calculation of fundamental underlying value. We will see far more use and emergence of L2s that compete with ETH. Meanwhile, Eth has totally lost the "better that BTC at being BTC" narrative, so really in a tough spot. Eth's underlying value based on traditional metrics is around $500 per coin. So, this is where the market will gravitate to over time. Of course with bumps up and down along the way. (This may change if Eth utilization increases, but is very unlikely as we know transaction costs will ultimately always proceed to the most efficient protocol).

If you are really looking for an Eth killer, or the next "real Eth", look for a smart contract solution built on top of the BTC base layer. Here's a little tip for you on a venture I have invested in - and watch out for the ICO coming - I can't get you or anyone here a preferential allocation, but I can help point you in the right direction. You can thank me later...

https://botanixlabs.com/why-botanix

As for stablecoins, we all know this is the absolute perfect trojan horse for fiat to flow into BTC....

See you at 125K!
