This is what I've been doing up until now. I've shown enough people the messages to show she's insane. I've got a record of everything.

She already tried to accuse me of rape. I took that straight to the police. They went to get her statement and surprise surprise she didn't want to press charges.

I'm going to have to get a court order but that takes time. I want to have some fun before then.

This is actually useful information. Ignore her and let every person know she's a crazy bitch who is stalking you. Call her job and tell them about it. Collect plenty of hard evidence to show people.

Don't act out towards her, you are male and will lose if anything happens.

The best thing you can do to steal her soul is completely ignore her, act like she doesn't exist. After a while she will move on or it will consume her life to the point that she gets on drugs or kills herself. Win / win.

This is what I had been hoping for, but it's got to the point where I've lost patience. I know the situation is incredibly sexist and we're it the other way around I'd have been in shit right away.

I'm still going to take the legal route and continue to ignore her and let her mess her own head up. But in the mean time I can have a little chuckle to myself over Craigslist.

File suit against her for slandering your name. Unfortunately I do not know how the courts work there but could probably help if you need to figure out how to phrase things to get the Court's attention.

Start keeping a journal of her antics. Keep details and have statements from those who know of her behavior on-hand in case she ever pulls some other shit and you actually get arrested.

I have everything recorded already. The police actually have 8 months worth of unsolicited messages. And copies of her acknowledging my telling her I wanted no further contact from her. But apparently that isn't harassment (because I'm a big guy and she's the poor defenless woman).

I'm going back up there in the morning, and to the court to get papers. What I'd like is for her to be charged with harassment and have an injunction issued.

Tonight's message included threats so maybe that'll spur their assess on.

My meltdown has passed, I'm rational and collected again. But Craigslist can be a backup if the legal system completely fails me.

Yeah that's the injunction. Up until very recently I was under the impression I needed a lawyer to obtain one, and didn't want to spend hundreds on something caused by her.

I had good success hiring a lawyer to pen a letter to a stalkie neighbor. Something with a legal firm's letterhead shows that you've involved other parties and are willing to take further action but doesn't come with the headache of involving the courts straight away. Also demonstrates that you're not going to engage personally/emotionally, which is what she's aiming for by being a pest. Yes there's a cost but this was money well spent for me. And as said: keep records of everything with dates.

No excuse for not having a camera set up over the front door given the low cost these days. Could make all the difference when she turns up drunk one night at 3 am and anything could happen. Some bitches really do be krazy.

If you retaliate in any way then you're a fool. I'm sure she has succeeded in upsetting you but ultimately what you want is to be left in peace. The best revenge is living without a crazy person lurking in your shrubbery.
