He has no love for the Sport of Bodybuilding and the direction it has been going.
I talked with him 2 yrs ago and he said not to tell anyone from our sport where he could be found.

Can't say that I blame the guy. It's a different game than it was some 25 or 30 years ago and I don't much care for it anymore either. Not that I ever did care much for the bodybuilding "lifestyle" in the first place, vis-a-vis the seamy underside that you don't read about in the mags.

I've heard from sources around getbig *coughBixcough* that Szkalak is into competitive cycling now (and doing pretty well at it) and he's slimmed down considerably from his old BB days.

That's Kal on the left, 3rd place. You can still recognize the similarity in some areas such as the shape of the arms. He's still bigger than the other two. Ironically, with all the cycling and size loss his legs are now in balance!

Have to say that was cheezy to mention he didn't want any publicity and then specifically mention location & the fact that he's a trainer.

Now, you're taking friends' confidential info and posting that shit all over the web.

Shawn, what if people talked about all the skeletons in your closet? I'm sure there are many dealers out there who would love to talk about their dealings with you. Many women who would love to talk about your shortcomings. Etc etc. Why mess with Kal like this?

Yes, we all know how those Personal Trainers & competetive cyclist hate publicity.

In Shawn's defense; he pretty much just said, "The dudes doing fine... he's healthy, he's happy and he's no longer a bodybuilding enthusist."

I think that's a nice change from; he's a drug dealer, he's in jail for killing his girlfriend, he's in prison, he's sick with kidney problems, he's dating tranvestites, etc. And I don't think anyone is planning on kidnapping Kal and forcing him to explain his lack of quad development.

A question asked about what this obscure man is up to.
Then, a pro athlete announces it on a message board where 20,000 people visit daily.
Additionally, the man asked his location to remain secret.
And Shawn announced it.

Seems there may be more to the story... He owe someone money? Shawn have a beef? This man work with the feds too? Did Shawn just throw this man under the bus? Can you imagine Payton Manning announcing where Joe Namath was hiding these days, after being asked not to? just seems odd...
