Kai is as much a philosopher as any self-help book out there. He uses the "thoughts become things" mantra, which is copy from a popular book title "Thoughts are things", written by Bob Proctor. Same principles that were in the famous book/dvd The Secret, and the book Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.

He's receiving so much attention right now. A savvy marketer would really know what to do with this moment.
Do kai or his people possess that level or savvy? Conventional wisdom says there is an inherent limitation to how famous the world's top bodybuilder can get. He defied that conventional wisdom partly because he's not officially the world's top bodybuilder. His social media followers really exploded following the line stepping incident. Kai has 1.1m followers, while Phil has 978k as of today. Not being allowed to compete could turn Kai into a legend.

Imagine the reaction of Phil when Kai gets three-four times as much followers than him on Facebook, and ten times as much attention, by NOT even being in the Mr Olympia competition!

Even Dynamik commercials playing on the telly constantly.

Would eventually drive Phil insane.

With all the philosophical bullshit that Kai spews, he has definitely set himself apart in terms of likeability. All he has to do his set up some seminars with the title, "The Philosophy of Bodybuilding" and see the thousands of people sign up for it.

I think people are ready to move on from phil. He got booed and people walked out when he was announced the winner. Hopefully he acts better on social media this year but he even mentioned haters in his victory speech so I imagine he may get even more annoying and then everyone will start trolling him.

I think no matter how kai showed up, he would not have won. I also think it's time to start spotlighting some of the new guys. I tell you what: Shawn Rhoden, Big Ramy, Bonac, Dallas mccarver, Steve Kuclo, and some others are starting to gain more fans and supporters which is great. All of those guys have great personalities and really make you want to cheer for them.

I think 2016 will be good bc the newer guys really established themselves this weekend

No, I made fun of you for accusing me of being secretly gay because I started one thread about a football player's new house while ignoring the irony of your obsessive, ongoing social media surveillance and daily updates of your ragecrush Phil Heath. When Heath shutdown his instagram account I was so worried about you, but I didn't send you any PMs because we would have just gotten into a week long battle over who was trolling who.

I think the last two years' version of Kai were better than anyone competing this past weekend. I think the case would have been way starker had he been there. All of the pretenders competing this weekend had weaknesses that could arguably justify a Heath win.

I have defended him a lot, and I think he looked amazing for several of his O wins, but he really was the worst looking Mr. O this past weekend. I don't know if it's just that time to hang it up or if he's letting the online nonsense get to him, but he was OFF. If he plans on competing next year, he needs to just log off and grow up. I know he tried to grow into the show- I don't think he ever started out in such mediocre shape, though.

I didn't even know he shut it down. I guess I dont check it as often as you think I do

I dont think the IFBB would give it to Kai. I also dont think they will give it to Big Ramy until he learns how to speak better english. Part of being Mr. O is promoting bodybuilding throughout the world. You cant do that if you cant speak English. I bet it will weigh against him.
