I personaly think that Warren's physique wouldn't have looked out of place in the 90's with flex, chris, ronnie, nasser, etc... He might not have been winning shows, but he doesn't have the Slin/GH look that everyone else has today.

cap86, i couldn't agree more. pro bb is down. the 90's was the best decade for bb. you had levrone, ray, wheeler, yates, coleman, and nasser.

now it is size at any cost. I mean they were freaks then too..but not like now.You can only put so much muscle on a 5 ft 10 frame...or whatever size frame you have.

Branch looks older becuase of his tan and goatee - if you see pics with him clean shaven he looks early twenties (maybe becuase they were taken when he in his early twenties)

Maybe so...but I was responding to the comment about a comparison between the bodybuilders of the early nineties and today.And in general what I said was true...guys today pack on more mass at any cost in comparison to the 90's.

I mean I am far from a pro physqiue but I used to love seeing all those guys (Levrone, Wheeler, Dillet, Shawn Ray, early Ronnie) and now it seems that the pros are having a harder time achieving that look. I'm not bashing these guys because they great at what they do, I just remember reading the magazines and seeing a much different look.

The drugs have gotten more advanced and now people are sacrificing their aesthetics for being the biggest monster out there.

The same is happening in most divisions of Bodybuilding/Fitness. Big Blocky physiques take presendce over aesthetic well conditioned and balanced physiques.

Damn and you think they are losing money now...In the Late '90's there was still a minute bit of mainstream interest.
