Longest Heel or Face

Curious,

Aside from Ricky Steamboat, has anyone remained a total face or heel for their entire run?

Cena was a heel, Goldberg actually started as a heel as well....

Vader and Psycho Sid were always heels that I can recall.

Has Sting ever been a heel? (maybe with the blade runners?)

Sid had a brief, but lame run in the Fed as "Sid Justice," a face.

Ultimate Warrior was face for his entire WWF run, all 3567656 of them.

he was heel back in 1986 in the UWF though.

I don't think he did. He worked a heel stable in WCCW, was heel in JCP and heel in WWF/WWE. When he went back to WCW before he died he was heel there too.

The reason I can name so many is that faces rarely turned back then.

When Zybysko turned on Bruno, it was like the end of the world. I think that one started the trend, at least in Vinceworld.

It happened a lot during the Hogan era. Poor Hulkster could never keep a friend: Macho, Orndorff, Andre. I'm probably forgetting several.

Another is Tito Santana.

I don't recall Tony Atlas as a heel in WWE either.

Italian, Joe Scarpa.
Went on to have a good career as a road agent throughout the 80's.

Supposedly was never the same after falling asleep watching his grandchild who drowned in their swimming pool after Jay fell asleep while babysitting.

Atlas has a phenomenal build...just unreal and way ahead of his time. Youtube Tony Atlas circa 1978-1982 and you'll see what I mean.

Ivan had a brief face run in 1988, having reconciled with his "nephew," but that was about the time Nikita's first wife Mandy died so Nikita was out...Ivan was paired with The Junkyard Dog at Starcade vs The Russian Assasins (mgd by Number One Paul Jones)...Jim Crockett, discussing the match the following week said, "...the Assasins won, but Ivan and JYD proved to be a fine team."  oh, brother  ::)
