dude looked drunk or high.

according to youtube comments, he was peppered spray and tazered before what you saw on the video. this leads me to believe he was high off of something. Not too sure ramming him with a car would have helped. You'd probably have to ram him hard enough to knock him unconscious.

police have non lethal weapons they can use. I say if the person has a knife and is at a distance away from the officers then the only thing they can use is maybe a rubber bullet gun in addition to tasers, but you don't have to kill the person..

I must've passed by about a minute before this happened. I was with a coworker who was driving, and as we were driving by, I noticed the two cops on the side of the road out of their car with their guns drawn at someone, but I couldn't see who. I saw this on the news later that night

the cops should have allowed him to stab at them until his knife got blunt on their vests

then talked him in to going in to a rehab programme of some kind

at no point touching him or impeding his rights as a citizen
