Did Shawn Ray use Synthol?

Yes everbody uses Synthol

so I will put this another way:  Shawn Ray didn't use Synthol.  Whatever muscle he had, in whatever shape they were in, were his and his alone. 

Now, this other hero and great champion... can the same be said of him?

This is your opinion. 
Many people believe otherwise and if you believe Milos Sarcev, the use of Synthol is NOT as prevalent as one would like to believe. 
Hard to know whether it would be wise to believe Milos Sarcev for everything he says.  People can cherry pick as it can't be possible that he lies about everything nor can it be possible that he is entirely truthful in every comment.

Regardless of whether you are the greatest uncrowned Mr. Olympia or top 20 in the history and all that, I have to wonder at what point in time did you first look at Wheeler and say " There's something not quite right about that guy!" 

And then it took you several years before you actually said " um.. those calves ain't right!" 

Why the calves? 
Why not the trap area where it attaches over the shoulder blade.  the " outer middle back/trap " area so to speak.
or the shoulders?
Or the Biceps?

So, when we are talking about the greatest champions, do we lump into that group for assessment, people who used Synthol to bring balance to their physique( or create a truly out of this world physique )  as well as those that chose not to use Synthol? 

The other things (AAS) were equal across the board. 

Did you smile when you heard him say " yeah, I fell on knitting needles. !!"  

I realize that you two were once friends and perhaps have reconciled in your old age.  But it begs the question.

They must comply with the strictest standards of condition all the way up to the age of 60 where they may degrade 5-10% per decade.

Shawn would be on "my list" of people to hang with.

When I close my eyes....I can picture it.

First we'd hit the gym hardcore in the morning....well, skip hardcore with Shawn these days & there would be no cardio thats for sure.

Second...we'd cruise in his pimp mobile looking for new business opportunities & saying hello to the ladies.

along the way...we stop & get some grub.

go pack to his pad & log on to getbig & sling some mud at some of the pro's.

then in the evening....we hit up the church & praise some good word.


Sounds like a fun day!

Why wouldn't he?  That is what he wants and what just about everyone who enters the shows wants.  Applause and people responding to every whim. 
You can say or ask that question about everyone on this board!  Why would someone give up their time in order to post a couple thousand posts on this board? 

In spite of his past glories, I find it bizarre that he come here to respond in any fashion.  Doesn't he have anything better to do? The lonely life of a bodybuilder.

Why don't you try answering someone's good question for once.

He won't answer the question.

He IS smiling now that it was asked however as it must have been gnawing at his insides to have Flex - or should I say Kenny - Wheeler lauded over ( here on these boards as well as in the magazines ) when Ray knew that one of the reasons for the accolades was the Synthol injections.

It would be interesting to know just what the other pros guys talked about when Wheelers' "new and improved" physique showed up.  Sort of like Manfred Hoebbels' biceps - just so out there that it couldn't be believed.  

When you add up all the money Wheeler won ( contests as well as seminars and posing exhibitions ) due to his Synthol enhanced physique, over other worthy competitors - it must be close to a couple hundred thousand.   Kind of a kick in the nuts to the other guys when they saw the money flowing in the other direction.

At what point did someone take off their shoe and stamp it on the table saying, " Enough is enough".
