The man with the best shape and posing in bbing today, lost another one. He coulda had this one in the bag, but due to POOR conditioning the "Barrell" Badell beat him.

Melvin could of have two victories (the Arnold and San Fran) under his belt. In San Fran his lower back was non-existant (and so were his calves), and he look flatter than a ironed shirt. I say two words. Joe Mcneil. Get his phone number. Dail it. Listen. And work with that man, cause Chad ain't the one.

Don't call out people when you don't have the goods. 'Cause you just might be remembered as the new Brian Buchanan... never winning the big one.

Melvin has a fantastic physique---as far as his posing goes, depends upon your taste, I prefer a more powerful sweeping gracefull posing routine.

Even though Branch would not be considered a great poser, I liked his rouitine of sticking to his most powerful poses instead of fancy dancing moves.

Melvin has put a lot of effort into his routine and it is interesting to watch, but I would rather see a more "Hercules" type posing routine.

Just me 2 cents !

The best trainer or contest guru in the world won't mean sheet if you don't have the discipline to stay away from the brownies and ice cream. Melvin won $1000 for Best Poser and 50 cents for Biggest Sweettooth.

Melvin was defintely not flat at the San fran. He was very full and to me looked better than he did at the Arnold.

MAybe if Melvin concentrated more at the task at hand then going to Saudi Arabia to be fondled by some Suadi prince for a quick buck , he might have a chance of coming in looking nice..

I think he looses show because of that cheap tatoo on his arm. I think its says Big M or something. I think he needed it to remind himself that he's big. Anyhow it looks like the kind of tat you get while you're doing some time and some retard with a ball point pen and some green crayon thinks he's an artist.

chad has done nothing but bring negativity to the sport. If i were Melvin i would see Charles Glass or Chris Aceto, they could make him the best in the sport

Maybe if I yell the whole contest and pound my chest I could´ve taken the show, but I am a competitor and choose to let my physique do the talking on stage not try to out yell someone to draw attention. For the most part you do let your physique do the talking Melvin, except for calling Dexter out recently.

As Swole said, conditioning is what let's you down. If you come in as hard and shredded as Ronnie does, you would move way up in the placings.

Thanks body88. I plan on it. No body at the SF was spot on anyway. But I can see that most of these guys don´t really look at the photos. But that is whay they aint judges. No bodybuilder in the sport goes in a show to place. We compete to win. I will continue to call out who ever is in my way. Like I said before I have beat every one on the AC stage at one time or another including Dexter.

Mel, I said that the best you have looked was when you won your pro card. You were full, and cut. After that it has disappointing. You show some signs, but you were not as full at the San Fran as you were at the Arnold. MAybe you use the Ironman as a warm up , and come down for the Arnold a la Flex W. Having high expections for the one who has the moniker of Marvelous is expected.
Get the formula right...or you will keep on being beaten by those whose shape and posing are subpar to yours.. Ya heard that. Yeah it is a good thing I ain't a judge 'cause I would have pulled you side by now
