My next blast

Hoping to get to 240 lbs and under 9% bodyfat.
Currently 230 lbs and 12% BF. Any suggestions?

jizmo hates this recomp thing, and yeah it's REALLY REALLY fucking hard to do, and i'm still trying to figure this shit it out  >:( >:( >:(

i can recomp on tren, but my weight wasn't able to go up as i get leaner, although it did stay roughly the same

you're wanting to go up 10 pounds in scale weight while losing 3% bodyfat, so if you are able to actually do this then i'll definately give a go what you did to accomplish this incredible feat  8) ;D

I also hated this lose weight gain muscle. For me it never made sense. But honest I did that last cycle.. so im just hoping to do the same  :)

you actually got leaner while gaining scale weight?

if yes, what did you run?

well its definitely possible to gain LBM and lose fat % at the same time
however gaining real dry MUSCLE tissue and lose actual bodyfat WEIGHT is complicated and ineffective imo

the pure NUMBERS youre aiming for are attainable, i mean look at my log, you can gain LBM (water) and lose %bodyfat (but not actual fat weight mass) at the same time

ill update my log soon with a post about this exact thing, basically im eating the same calories as throughout january right now but staying the same weight after initially gaining these ~20 lbs. was hoping to continue going up 1-2lbs per month further but basically my weight hasnt budged, it actually decreased 2-3 lbs over the last ~2 weeks, whereas the first 3 weeks i was putting on almost a pound a day (which sounds like a recomp but is actually just putting on water weight and increasing LBM through that)

"recomping" only works well going from natty on a heavy cycle or coming out of a hard cut imo. even then its just an inferior concept to bulking/cutting.

i definitely think its much more effective to stay in a general caloric surplus to gain muscle.
obviously the body doesnt work on a day by day basis, but switches between anabolism and catabolism all the time, so it might be possible to gain muscle and lose fat at the same time, BUT this requires perfect nutrition timing (youll have to use the most catabolic and most anabolic "windows" (fuck i hate that term) to your advantage (=fasted morning cardio with GH, perfect pre/intra/post nutrition with slin etc))
thats my opinion on that.

and anyone can claim this and actually even believe that they did it. but.... pics ARE A REQUIREMENT for this statement (not calling anyone a liar, but it could be that they did just this... the pics will give clear proof that it is was done/accomplished, coz as we know... pics don't lie, that is unless they are shopped  ;D

i really think that it's impossible for a decently in shape fella to do this (meaning someone who has been training regularly), but i do think that it's possible to add just lean dry tissue while staying lean ie. 6-7% bf

Then obviously it was water weight. I like to think it's muscles haha. But it make sense what u guys are saying. It's not easy to build dry muscle tissue.. about pictures Im not much of a photo guy, because in my mind I always look bad. But if you were asking for photo I can take one when I wake up tomorrow and post.. even I wouldn't like that..  :D

What you can do is to split your cycle doing first a hard diet to lose as much fat as possible and then the next half you rebound and try to fill back up and gain muscle.
