Today begins the fall of Trump
« on: February 18, 2016, 03:17:53 AM »
It won't be immediately apparent and he'll still be ahead in the polls but I want to mark today as the official day when people start to realize that Trump does not belong in the White House.

No need to be disappointed. Fun times still lay ahead and it's not like he's had his Ross Perot moment. It's not one big thing. It's a bunch of things starting to add up and take it's toll.

But it's great that he entered the race and stays in as long as he can. Maybe to the bitter end considering Trump. And I'm grateful he brought some issues to the forefront like immigration.

And I kept an open mind about him. I wondered how he would stack up dealing with the likes of Putin? How he would have handled China and Iran? How reckless he would be on the world stage?

And it would have been cool to have a hottie in the White House.

I wish u were right.  But he's still moving in the right direction.  Rubio is broke and jeb losing support.   Unless trump loses one of these states, he's gonna win 7 or 8 on Super Tuesday.

I don't see it.

His clichés are becoming very annoying now.

Yeah impose high import duty on goods imported from China. As the USA doesn't have a significant manufacturing capability any more this means the poor American schmucks will be paying significantly more for their Chinese goods.

Bring jobs back to America?  How the fuck does he intend to do that ?  Are the typical Americans so uneducated?

He's just having a laugh destroying the republican party. Working for the Clintons from day one.

Wake up you stupid American bastards. We in Scotland are laughing at this son of a Scottish woman taking the piss out of you all.  :D

I concur. He jumped the shark a month or so ago. The shiny penny is t so new anymore. It's a shame, because it will pave the way for that socialist from New England. Bad days are ahead bros.

Trump was a Republican then became a Democrat for so many years.  Now he's a Republican again. He has donated to Hillary's campaign for Senate. He has donated to her foundation. The Clintons attended his wedding. He has donated to a long list of Democratic politicians.

He has also been on both sides of major issues throughout the years. Just one example of this is abortion. He was for partial birth abortion and now he's against all abortions.

His threat again to run as a third party candidate is almost proof that he's a Democrat or insane knowing that would hand the Presidency to the Democrats. He runs his campaign like he's the Howard Stern of candidates. He does say the things angry voters like to hear but can he accomplish some of it or is it just catch phrase talking points? He made his fortune through his father's millions and he has been losing wealth at a rapid rate for years. He is now a reality show host.

I have no faith in the American voters who are sheep led by the complicit news providers. Most want to know what government can do for them instead of what would be good for  this country in turn benefiting them.  The country fell for that hope and change.  They are about to fall for another scam.  Hillary, Sanders and Trump would be a horrible choice. We just have voters now that want things from the government. The government has no money. Only what they take from workers, businesses and borrow from foreign countries.

If Trump can become president, I truly believe Kanye West will run for president in the near future.

Why are the Republicans not backing Ron Paul?   ???

And why do Americans always end up with idiots for presidential candidates?

I've always felt that Trump was doing this for his "Brand" and doesn't really want the job.

That said, if the Republicans can't win this election, regardless of the nominee, they may as well hang it up, as the Democratic candidates are the worst in the history of the country.

Today the end?  He's faaaar ahead in South Carolina and will win Saturday by a Yuuuge margin.  That only makes him look more like a winner.  As the choices become more clear between open border amnesty types and trump, trump gains.

Let's make America great again. Still don't know what we're going to do about the 50% of Americans that hate the USA. Maybe Trump can deport them.

Wow, what a low energy thread. People have been saying he's declining since AUGUST! This is a movement that is only getting stronger, Trump is self funded and destroying both sides of the political arena. He is a common sense candidate who needs our vote unless you want to live in a socialist state and pay higher taxes.

the Donald has been hilariously entertaining so far as the frontrunning GOP candidate ...
bullying Jeb! day in & day out ... the lawsuit threat against natural born Canadian "Teddy" ... mocking the party's past two nominees Mitt & McCain ... AND, not just reminding all Republicans of the Iraq disaster, but trumpeting that George Bush sure as hell didn't keep Americans safe since 9/11 happened during his "reign" ... AND ... charging during the debate in South Carolina that W. actually lied about WMDs to invade Iraq hahahaha

Love it.  Make this guy the Republican nominee!

Agree.  They should just rally behind Rubio or Cruz as quickly as possible or they will self destruct with this in-fighting and we'll be left with a socialist or Hillary...both very very painful

Cruz can't win the country.  Rubio is the GOP's best hope.

Republicans probably would say the '80s because, for them, Ronald Reagan is still the man.

I don't think he'd be reckless at all.  He wouldn't be as successful as he is if we were reckless.  He's just saying what a lot of people are thinking.  He's a marketing expert. He's giving people what they want.

I've been saying this on getbig since 2011... trump is a dem plant.  He made obama's birth certificate issue a joke.

Now he's made Walker completely disappear, he's made Jeb look like an impotent wimp, he's made Rubio look like a blubbering sweaty robot, he's made Cruz look like a canadian liar.  AND he's called bernie sanders a communist.

If he WAS a dem plant... WHAT WOULD HE BE DOING ANY DIFFERENTLY?
