Cards stacked for Hillary to win
« on: February 22, 2016, 10:30:41 AM »
despite the popularity of Sanders somehow Clinton is destroying him with 502-70 in delegates count.  The superdelegates are showing that the people really don't have a voice and that it's the ones in the shadows that control it all.  A stat showed that Clinton has raised $28 million for the Democrats while Sanders has raised $1000.  Basically she has the money behind her.  I love Sanders' message of fucking the banks but he doesn't realize that their money will win the election for her.  Sure Obama got a lot of money from small donations but he also had the banks supporting him.  Sanders doesn't.  Amazing that the people think their anger and outrage matters but in the end this democratic society is nothing more than a farce.

She says we're "bullying" them and we need to cut that out.

Absurd. There is great apathy among the Dems and Bernie is the only cause for excitement. Bernie's supporters will feel disenfranchised when he finally bows out and supports Hillary and the establishment. Plus, with no black candidate, the minorities will stay home or vote for the celebrity. On the other hand, the Republicans are voting in a frenzy to get these libtards out of office and out of their pockets. Second term Obama equals first term Carter and we all know how 1980 went.

the only defense of the superdelegate system is "well, it's never changed an election BEFORE".

Or, the lovely "they wouldn't go against the will of the people, they just wouldn't do that..."

This system was DESIGNED to be able to remove the will of the people if the party elders deem the person to be unelectable.  It's a complete over-ride for the will of the people.

I wonder if the repubs will have this issue - all the superdelegates shifting support to Rubio/Kasich and just screwing over the will of the repub voters that love them some trump.

Everybody in the party piling on Rubio in the past week would seem to bear that out.

it's funny for people to realize that both parties will straight up OVERRIDE the votes of the people, if they choose to.

the flimsy defense of "well, it's never happened before..." is complete crap.  If they want Hilary vs Rubio... and the people want Bernie vs Trump.... well, the establishment wins.

It was Scalia that gave Bush the 2000 presidency even though they discovered trashed votes in the swamp that would have given Gore Florida and the win.  The Supreme Court of peace ::)

i was a total bush shill back then, celebrating loudly.   Gore ALMOST got florida.  the votes were climbing by the hour until SCOTUS stepped in and declared it for Bush.
