Up until recently that it became obvious that Trump had unstoppable momentum no GOP member was backing him. It doesn't matter what they want or if they won't support him. Even Repub voters hate the party so much they would rather vote Trump. McConnell is the worst of the establishment and the leader of not successfully opposing Obammer's policy this whole time.
