Coming off 250mg test e after 6mths -change training?
« on: April 18, 2016, 09:03:55 PM »
I've been on 250mg/w test e for about 6 months and currently tapering down to be off in May.

I plan to be off completely in June and July then hop back on in August if I feel like it. I got on for hrt reasons and decided why not do 250mg/wk and see what happens.

I am going off only to get my own system back.to.its shitty low level as the wife has mentioned wanting another kid next year so I figure have a break. We are both fertile anyway but I thought a break.wouldnt hurt and.id rather do it now than in 6 months time.

During the off time, should I adjust my training? I've read people prefer to move from volume training more towards strength during the off time. Thoughts?

I understand your concern but why get off before summer? (although I am contemplating this also lol).

Unless you're in southern hemisphere and then it's winter haha

Everybody responds different to training, personally when I was natural I tried to lift heavier. I feel like lifting extremely heavy while on roids is usually a good way to get injured and fuck your joints up for later in life.

I'm southern hemisphere so it's coming into Winter now.

I don't lift heavy i am doing baby weights with large volume as i'm not keen to blow any joints out. I reckon i look better with baby weights - ironic?

But going off there is that mental downturn and i've seen people comment moving to a strength routine helps battle it as you can make strength gains which i guess puts your mind off the fact the muscle is being lost?

Or should i just not worry about it as right now i'm only considering being off for 2 months anyway so does it really matter?

Just take some time off, do some pump style workouts, then wear baggy sweater to cover up loss of size :D
