It is just a matter of time for everything to get better, and he doing all of the things to make this country grow. In another year maybe even the crazy 30% might even be able to see it.  Low gas prices are not enough.

no they withheld the data, fired people and put in puppets.

Just look at how incompetent they are with the epstein files, you can literally copy and paste the redactions and get the unedited pages of shit lolol, the posted a fake ai video of epsteins cell, and used doctored pictures not in context like the jackson, clinton one.

I am all for more money, pump the market but you would have to admit that Powell lowering rates indicating a weakening economy- in line with the previous data and job loss seems a little out of place with this new data.

Tariffs do not need more data, we know what they do, they cause inflation and are protectionistic in nature.

Why do you think the US should pay high tariffs while having low tariffs? Should we not have an equal trade footing?
I have no problem whatsoever with "protectionistic" policies, everyone should be doing their best to protect their people and their country. Problem is so many other countries, including our 51st state, are so used to the US just throwing money and goods their way that when we want a little something in return, the handout countries start throwing a fit.

Your logic regarding tariffs is fine. Hower, they are an import tax or customs duty which the importer pays. Ultimately, the financial burden is passed on to consumers through higher prices. Higher prices coupled with inflation mean imported goods can become unaffordable for more people. Ultimately, this has a negative effect on the economy.

The us doesnt pay higher tariffs thats the point though. Trump is attempting to use the US market as leverage to get more out of folks, I understand the idea, they want their products in the US but its having some seriously negative impacts. While he gets what he wants- there haven't been any actual trade agreements made (comprehensive deals like the one canada and the US made) the us consumer pays the higher fees. Then there are products you guys cant make like coffee which make zero sense from an inflationary standpoint to increase tariffs on except to strong arm the exporters into deals in other places.

Don't be like these fools who allowed their TDS to cloud their judgement, losing tons of money as a result:

How Warren Buffett bet against the ‘Trump trade’ — and lost spectacularly

Nov. 8, 2024

Buffett has been selling stocks like Bank of America and even market darling Apple, if you haven’t noticed, hoarding more than $300 billion cash and cash equivalents (T-bills) because he said tax rates were going higher, and he expected stocks to crater.

Now that the possibility of Trump winning has turned into a reality, the famed Oracle of Omaha is looking more like the Knucklehead from Nebraska, some of these traders say. Sure, shares of his holding company Berkshire Hathaway were up with the rest of the market after Wednesday’s massive Wall Street, but think of all the money he left on the table by sitting in as much low-yielding, short-dated treasuries as the Fed, and not having his cash in the roaring S&P.

Put on your eye glasses, grab your magnifying glass, and zoom in to 500% in your web browser, then look at my post again.

I responded to Chaos' post with a smiley face because of his "our 51st state" reference.  I made that very clear by bolding the text and increasing the font size only on that part of his post.  I didn't say anything about tariffs.

And Merry Christmas, you blind and senile old fart!  I'm jealous that you got to see baby Jesus in person, when you played your drum for Him.   :D
