Whether referring to liberal or conservative folks, the contributors on the Getbig forum and threads do not represent people at large. Hate to break it to you, but this is a tiny and mostly dysfunctional community of folks with a lot of time to waste on the internet.

They consume fake news, are anti-science, anti-free speech, pro fascist, pro big pharma, and anti-common sense, and easily manipulated.
Yes, there are hard core rightists who have similar qualities in terms of cultivated media consumption and manipulation, but it's nothing compared to what we see on the left in terms of magnitude.
