The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Office of Immigration Statistics publishes statistics and reports based on administrative data, such as the numbers of persons obtaining legal permanent resident status, refugees and asylees, naturalizations, nonimmigrant admissions, and enforcement actions.
It also provides estimates of the unauthorized immigrant population in the United States.The U.S. Census is taken every 10 years (decennial), with the next official, nationwide count happening on April 1, 2030.
Estimates based on data surrounding
the 2020 Census indicate there were approximately 10.5 million to 11 million unauthorized immigrants living in the U.S.Estimates for unauthorized immigrants in the U.S. in early 2025 reached around 15.4 million, with significant growth seen since 2021. While some projections suggest further growth, others anticipate a potential decline to 1.65–1.99 million new arrivals in 2026.
Elections to the U.S. Congress will take place on November 3, 2026. All 435 districts in the U.S. House of Representatives and 33 seats in the U.S. Senate are up for election. Five of the House's six non-voting members are also up for election.
According to the consevative Heritage Foundation in the last 46 years there have been 68 cases of illegal aliens voting.A close review of the cases in Heritage’s database reveal that the organization has documented just 68 total cases of noncitizen voting going back to the earliest cases documented in the 1980s. This accounts for under 5% of the total cases of voter fraud. The remaining cases all involved U.S. citizens.
