Quite some balls to do it like that. Gunman knew he was going to be killed.

Putin has ruined the Russian economy. USA should increase oil production so their enemies will get less money through much lower oil prices.

High oil price = loads of money for the enemies of the US of A

And what has Russia done but cause more bloodshed in Syria? Over 400, 000 people have died, fuck has Russia done. Don't tell me stopping ISIS because again fuck all has been done to squash them, instead they are supporting Asad. I could give two fucks about Asad and hope that fucked gets burned alive for fuck sake the civilian casualties are insane.

So you support the American/EU backed, armed, and trained, rebels?

Are you planning an oil pipeline through Syria as well?

And why are you sympathizing with terrorists?

Do have the urge to drive a truck through large crowds?

WTF are you talking about? Assad is the legitimate ruler of Syria and has support from the majority of Syrians. Under him, Syria is a secular nation in which people of all religions were living together peacefully.
The rebels are just Islamic Sunni extremists who wish to turn Syria into another Sharia state. They hate Assad purely because he is a Shia Alawite. These rebels were propped by the US who also dislike Assad because he isn't an ass kisser to Israel. They would much rather Syria fall into the hands of hardcore Islamists as long as it serves their own interests.

Russia and Assad have done a terrific job fighting the Jihadist scum. Thanks to Putin, IS is nowhere near as strong as they were a few years back. There are no "moderate" rebel groups. All of them are driven by a similar ideology.
Civilian casualties are unfortunate but it's a fucking war. Innocent deaths are unavoidable, especially since cities like Aleppo are densely populated.

100%

One just needs to look at this picture of the Syrian capital Damascus taken March 2016, people men and women are free to lead a normal life. You will not see this under Western backed rebel area and definitely not under ISIS controlled areas, just religious oppression and murder on the streets.

If you were in Syria I'm sure it'll be an easy choice who you'd want to live under.

Obama removed Guaddafi, a moderate Muslim and the country is riddled with Isis now. ISIS was created by the west, so when they cross over and murder civilians don't blame Islam, blame your retarded leaders....they are the root cause and directly responsible.

The Russians are no good. The Japanese are no good.  The Americans are no good. Europeans are no good. Chinese are no good. No one is any good except Muslims. They're God's gift.

You'd think God would give us a gift that smelled a little better.

Regarding the Middle East, I'm as non-interventionist as they come, but let's not pretend these countries would be paradises were it not for outsiders.

Syria under Assad is a Socialist shithole with per capita GDP on par with an African country:

http://www.tradingeconomics.com/syria/gdp-per-capita

The Gross Domestic Product per capita in Syria was last recorded at 1700.39 US dollars in 2010. The GDP per Capita in Syria is equivalent to 13 percent of the world's average. GDP per capita in Syria averaged 1147.70 USD from 1960 until 2010, reaching an all time high of 1700.39 USD in 2010 and a record low of 563.07 USD in 1960.

If Syria falls to the 'rebels', the chaos will spread and most of the region will be in terrorist control.

Interesting point of view --

Do you really believe There is No Problem with The Muslim religion.?

And that the west is to blame for everything.?

I would be the first to say there are & have long been a lot of very underhand
things go on by western governments - to there own people & the countries of many others.

Though the same can be said for every government.

What they say & what they do -- very different.

The middle east is a "shithole" and should have never been touched - let these people dance to their own tune. The west should have simply annihilated them or payed a due price for resources and sealed itself off. Lotsa should but I see the "well meaning" intermingling as a phony recipe for disaster.

I believe if a foreign power invaded america ala Red Dawn, Americans would not act any differently than the Muslims do.

100% agree.

There was a reason military regimes and dictatorships controlled the region, without them those areas fall into violence and chaos, the leaders understood that.

I don't think anyone's claiming that Syria is a paradise under Assad. However, it was a country in which people of all religions were treated equally and where Islamic laws were not the laws of the land. The uprising against Assad was led and driven by militant Salafi's yet was supported by the Western nations (who claim to be fighting terrorism at the same time). It seems that things may now change with Trump in power though.

I agree, though I cannot understand the West's reasoning or strategy for supporting these 'rebels'.

A naïve mentality that if we overthrow these dictators, Jeffersonian democracies would spring up.

The reality is that they tried turning chicken sh!t into chicken salad with the typical results.

I think it is purely because they wish to see Assad overthrown. Therefore, they are happy to support anyone who is willing to do the dirty work. I'm not sure the exact reason as to why they wish to get rid of Assad. It could be down to him being critical of America's pet, Israel. I've also heard that Assad refuses to allow a pipeline being built across Syria which stems from Saudi.
Assad gave an interesting interview following Trump's victory. He's seems aware of the power held by lobby groups in the US.
