Lol..really? I'm pretty sure every gym I've trained at the manager never had any type of degree, I've trained at some major chains (24 hr fitness, Golds, LVAC, Lifetime, X sport). However, without a degree, I bet he would have to work his way up, most likely working at the counter, signing up members, until he gets promoted...which would mean he would have to swallow his pride for a while to get his life back on track.

Working a front desk would be easy for him to get being Mike Quinn.  Heck, Paul Demayo was strung out on heroin and was still able to check people in.  But, the problem is that in Delray Beach, those positions hardly ever come up and it would be at almost minimum wage.  

Mike is wanting a lobster dinner at a McDonald's Value menu price and that shit isn't going to work.  Mike is my friend and I told him straight out what he needed to do when he asked.  Its unfortunately the same thing I've told many others over the years.  Its a shame the IFBB doesn't help competitors manage their expenses and setting up after life in bodybuilding.

The only good thing about being a mediocre bodybuilder is that I knew that I couldn't depend on it for a living.  So I went out, got a degree, put money away, built a business, and established a proper resume.

Agree, which is why I said he would have to swallow his pride, sometimes you gotta put ego aside and do what you have to do to advance your life. He should look into working at Whole Foods, it's a good company they pay pretty well, have health benefits, and also a 20% discount, once again he would have to swallow his pride, but I'm not sure many people would even know who he is at this point, he was semi famous in the bodybuilding scene a long time ago.
