Yeah it is a great surgeon. He works on other doctors. It took 4 months just to get a first visit with him.

Coming out of surgery you will feel like hell. It will take a lot of rehab to come back. Maybe make a thread about it. It could be encouraging for others going through it. Hope given time it's will turn out to be a success. I would imagine it will take 6 months before you are back. Maybe more. Keep working at rehab and don't be discouraged at the lack of progress. It takes time.

Back surgery is no joke. We've had our differences and hate to see or hear just about anyone go through this kind of pain. Seriously wish you the best of recovery. Good luck.

maybe maybe not. I'm not even sure what's wrong w the posters back. Many patients feel immediate relief as they wake up in recovery and only have minor pain from surgery. Depending upon procedure his recovery may not be all that difficult.
