I like the guy.  He's delusional if he truly believes his best shape could've won a single ASC, let alone several (?!?!).  But he really did deserve a higher placing at the 03 NOC.  He was ripped there and better than Titus and Pavel overall by far.  The NOC had a very weird judging criteria history, though.  Munzer clearly beat Porter in 93, and a pre-Nasser Nasser probably should've won the 94 NOC.

Of course, that was before the show's judging got supremely wonky and Ruehl was repeatedly ignored :/

I enjoyed his commentary, when he co-anchored the Olympia Webcast about 5 years ago.

I hope they bring him back.
