I believe it’s the best option for him at the moment, better than Miami. Young up and coming stud QB, bulldozer of a RB, young team with swag. I think his style of leadership and discipline will do wonders for that team. Miami is not that team, the Giants are the Cowboys of the late 80’s they’re on the cusp of being a good team for a while.

I’m with you. Lamar is a talent, there’s no doubt about that but his lack of maturity is what is and will continue to hold him back. He’s stupid, and eventually his physical traits that allow him to be great will be gone and he will have to rely on his IQ which is room temp. If you ever hear him talk you realize this. His window, with his physical ability is beginning to close and with the coaching change (that I assume he pushed for) and relearning a system may push him to the closed window portion of his career. I have had my doubts on Lamar since 2023 AFCCG no matter what my thread titles say.

Yeah not a great signing. I was more stoked on the Crosby trade. If they could somehow negotiate him for a first rounder and mid round pick I’d be stoked. They said they tried to get both of them so that would be a monster pass rush duo. Doubtful Las Vegas would get involved with Baltimore for a while though after this. The sting will last years.
