He doesn't make much sense. You DON'T have to take steroids for the rest of your life once you start. Just because he has been interested in weights for 40 plus years doesn't mean he took steroids for that long or could what ever. This guy goes through the same ups and downs as anyone else that cycles. When he's in shape he takes a lot of photos and then shows the world what a natty 50 year old can look like when he trains really hard and when he's not on you can easily tell that he's much smaller and softer. He's always giving a reason as to why he's NOT on. I eat perfectly I train hard I get plenty of rest .
As far as Rich goes, steroids just didn't magically all of the sudden shut his brain off. What ever it was I'm guessing here that he was doing something that he shouldn't have doing that made him pass out and then hit his heard if that part of the story is even true. Most likely we will never know that true story.
