You can have PTSD from things other than war. Its a war stereotype. But it is not limited to that. If you were raped as a kid like yourself it will stick forever im sure it does and no you are not a pussy for it

Sad to say but there are a lot looking for a life time disability check to come in.  Of course there are legit cases but too many are looking for a check.

Legit PTSD is debilitating - the brain can seriously fuck it's self up.  The more I learn about it the happier I am I have control over my faculties, or at least the illusion of control.

However most of these PTSD victims need a little shoulder to cry on, some tea and sympathy and a few xanax.

when it comes to service men its very overwhelming you see and hear the war the gun fire the noise of war even when you are awake a single sound can produce a flashback when you are awake..its something that's very hard to shake from your memory..
Iwas in the marines. doesn't matter how tough you are you cant fight it ...
