While this rant is not to discredit Dorians achievements or work ethic....nor to judge Leroy Davis as an individual. But my god.....I just watched some segments of Leroy and Dorian training from peak times...as well as Leroy training some guys recently. But...for Christsakes....HOW IN THE HELL DOES ONE TRAIN...OR EVEN DO A SET WITH SOMEBODY SCREAMING AND HOLLERING nonsense at you during a set. That would drive me mad. My early years training in the 80's had me at one of the most hardcore gyms in the US....which was John Kempers Diamond Gym in Maplewood, New Jersey. The best of the best and some of the best Jersey guys were bred and born out of that gym....and while there was some screaming going on...NOTHING like Leroys shit was needed. Anyway...just wanted to. rant.

It's annoying and distracting for others in the gym. I don't get why people have to grunt for every set either, sure if the last rep is a grind by all means, but every fucking rep of every set? It's fucking dumb.

I hung with Dorian while he trained ... and Leroy was there, as was usual at the time.

The man’s just an endless vox assault. Haha.

If you're able to make any kind of overt noise while lifting, you're probably not lifting heavy enough.

I always enjoyed the screaming. Very unusual and eerie sounding voice. Likely helped motivate Dorian to train harder.
