The accused, Quinton Tellis, also faces another murder indictment in Louisiana, where he’s accused in the torture death of Meing-Chen Hsiao, a 34-year-old Taiwanese graduate student at the University of Louisiana at Monroe. But that's probably just a coincidence.

There is no evidence in the case. He had sex with her but nothing else points to him....fingerprints, gas etc. Firefighters testified that she said Erik or Derik. Prosecutor tried to claim that she could have said Tellis except that it would not make any sense for her to call her boyfriend by his last name.

Read this article on the Taiwanese lady. There's quite a bit of evidence pinpointing him. Seems like he is guilty.

This is such a sad case to me. Of course she should Have made better choices but the pain she must have went thru..its awful. Also the cruelty of someone doing that to another human being is unimaginable. This world is becoming worse everyday..the news literally depresses me
