Humanitarian? I'm still trying to understand why anyone would be against securing our border and do those same people leave their cars, houses, places of business unsecured? I think some of these people are indifferent because they aren't taking the money directly out of their pocket to pay for the cost of illegal immigrants. It's all hidden as "taxes".

If the US government wanted to Wall Off Mexico/Mexicans from freely wandering onto my property, I wouldn't care.

A more comphrehensive boarder patrol might cost less and be more effective a curbing illegal immigration than a partcial wall.

A bigger issue is illegal drugs coming into the U.S. I believe the wall will do almost nothing to stop that from happening.

I have a problem with it, in that it could only claim our monumental failure as a society.  With an actual monument. 

It would be nothing more than a giant statue representing America's defeat at the hands of corporate interest.

Trump claimed he'd make "the best deals" for the American people.  Yet one of the very best money-making opportunities, ever, still waits to be seized -- along with the assets of those who perform illegal business.  Several entrenched problems handled at once, with all incentive to jump our border removed with them.
