Ask a thousand people why they voted how they did on anything and in any election and you'll get a thousand different answers. Unfortunately, most people vote blindly which isn't surprising since there often isn't enough information to make a wise choice or whatever information there is, is dishonest and misleading.
That's quite factual and accurate. But she made her campaign about half the country with her "I'm with her" juvenile sloganeering bullshit. She ignored blue collared male workers when that miner humiliated her at that meeting with a mine company's rank & file that was closing down to her policies in the Senate as well as her husband's leadership against traditional energy jobs in America. And if MeToo had been out back then, she'd have wrapped herself around it like a squid around a buoy. She was, is, and always be the face of division by virtue of her entire career.
Trump is also very divisive, but he's riven the country in half only due to his extreme nationalism and far-right statements. That ought to alienate maybe 15% of the country, not fucking 50%. We know who the enemies of our country are now, because they hid it so well even under George W. Bush. It took this President to fully expose just how insanely slanted and agenda-driven the mainstream media was all along, and how much discontent ordinary, seemingly normal people had about our history, values, and even constitution all along. I've heard regular folks praise the idea of eliminating borders and letting everyone move in because "they deserve a chance in this country too." Fuck it, I'm glad he got elected because now I know we're surrounded by traitors and anti-American scum. I go out in the street, or stand around the lunch room at work, or even go to a grocery store and listen to the conversations at the checkout between couples and all I hear is anti-Trump, anti-U.S., anti-capitalism, anti-this, anti-that. It's frustrating. Take those people to even France or Italy and make them live there for a year, see how bad they want to go back to this terrible country. I didn't even suggest developing countries or third world ones, because that's silly.
