An annuity that ends when you die is pretty good. That's the boat I am in. I do have a life insurance policy and some money still in Deferred comp that should be enough for my spouse to not have to work when I kick the bucket. Its enough to get by but she won't be buying a yacht. As long as I am worth more alive than dead I can eat her cooking without worrying too much

My wife and I both selected the option whereas each of us would get the others annuity when they passed. Therefore, part of my income comes from her annuity. Had I died first she would have received mine.
